Australian homeowners who want solar panels that blend into their roofs have a new option. Trinasolar is bringing back its all-black solar range with an Australian-exclusive 510W module designed to combine premium looks with high performance.

The Vertex S+ G3 Full Black solar module, model NEG10R.25Z, delivers up to 24.4% efficiency and features next-generation TOPCon 3.0 technology. The company announced the launch ahead of All Energy Australia 2026, alongside new commercial solar services, battery storage and installation robotics.

The launch also signals a broader push by Trinasolar to offer more than solar panels, with engineering support for commercial projects and technology aimed at large-scale solar construction.

Full Black Solar Panels Australia: A New 510W Option

The Vertex S+ G3 Full Black marks the return of Trinasolar’s all-black solar offering to the Australian market.

The module uses n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology, a low-voltage design, and lightweight dual-glass construction. Its all-black finish is designed to give residential and commercial rooftops a more uniform appearance.

Trinasolar says the panel delivers up to 510W of power output and 24.4% efficiency. It is backed by a 25-year product warranty.

The Australian-exclusive model responds to demand from homeowners, businesses and installers for solar panels that combine performance with appearance.

Edison Zhou, Head of Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands at Trinasolar, said:

“Black is back with more power, greater efficiency and next-generation solar technology,” said Edison Zhou, Head of Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands at Trinasolar. “The Vertex S+ G3 combines the premium all-black design customers want with the performance and reliability they expect from Trinasolar.”

The company will unveil the module at All Energy Australia 2026, where it will also present its wider solar and energy storage portfolio.

Trinasolar Launches Commercial Solar Engineering Service

Alongside the rooftop panel, Trinasolar is launching its C&I Integrated Engineering & Solutions service in Australia.

The service will provide project-specific engineering, system optimisation and selective component sourcing for commercial and industrial solar projects. It draws on Trinasolar’s experience across solar modules, mounting and tracking systems, and battery energy storage solutions.

Australia is the launch market for the service. Trinasolar points to the expansion of the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme on 1 October 2026, which it says creates new opportunities for qualifying commercial solar installations above 100kW and up to 1MW.

As businesses combine solar generation with batteries and energy management systems, the service is intended to help developers plan integrated projects. Engineering, procurement and construction contractors and system integrators can also draw on Trinasolar’s technology and technical support.

The company says the service will provide tailored support through consultation with a dedicated team, helping businesses address current project needs and plan for future requirements.

Battery Storage and Solar Installation Robotics on Display

Trinasolar will also showcase its wider solar and energy storage portfolio at All Energy Australia 2026.

This includes the 6.25MWh Elementa 3, Trina Storage’s utility-scale battery energy storage system. The system combines direct-current technology with alternating-current integration capabilities.

The company will also display TrinaTracker’s BUILDEX module installation robot, designed for utility-scale solar projects with varied terrain and demanding construction requirements.

The robot features adaptive levelling of up to 17 degrees, AI-powered vision and LiDAR sensing. Trinasolar says the technology could help developers improve construction efficiency, reduce labour-intensive work and support on-site safety.

The showcase highlights the company’s wider focus on solar generation, battery storage, engineering and installation technology.

What the New Solar Panel Means for Australian Buyers

For homeowners, the most immediate development is another high-output all-black solar panel option. The 510W module gives installers a product to consider for customers who want a uniform rooftop appearance without giving up high power output.

However, Trinasolar’s announcement does not provide a retail price or confirmed availability date. Homeowners should check with local installers before making a purchasing decision.

For businesses, the new engineering service could be the most significant development. Commercial solar projects increasingly need to coordinate generation, battery storage and energy management. Trinasolar’s service is intended to support that process, although its value will depend on pricing, local support and how it performs on real projects.

The company has not announced specific Australian projects using the new service, but its launch signals a wider move into integrated commercial energy solutions.

CleanSwitch Take: What We Think

The return of all-black solar panels is a welcome option for homeowners who care about how solar looks on their roof. But the bigger story is Trinasolar’s move into integrated commercial energy solutions.

Businesses need more than panels as they add batteries and energy management systems to their sites. The new engineering service could help simplify that process, although its value will depend on project pricing, local support and how well it works in practice.

The 510W panel also gives installers another product to consider, but buyers should compare complete system costs, product specifications and warranty terms before choosing.

Our team at CleanSwitch will continue following these developments and keep you informed as the products reach the Australian market.
